Proceedy Timeline
If you are stuck and need help, you can now seek help via our support widget accessed directly from within the solution. From here you can ask questions, create errors and find relevant support articles.
Improved: You can now go directly from within the PDF editor to the timeline or gallery to which your annotation is linked. If the annotation is linked to several places, you will get an overview of where it has been used.
You can now from timelines, galleries and files copy an external link which other users can access.
Improved: We can now handle uploaded files with existing annotations, which means that you are able to manipulate with existing annotations.
Added drag and drop functionality for uploading files and from the side panel.

As an admin you can now create groups in Proceedy Management. It means that if you want a group of people in your organization to have access to a folder, you can now share that particular folder with the group.
If you are an administrator you will have access to the Proceedy Management. From here you can now upload an organization logo to your organization profile. The logo will be possible to add to your timeline pdf export.
Improved: Words in e.g. a description field will no longer be split randomly. Instead it will now jump to the next line.
Improved: You can now also resend and cancel folder invitation and user invitations from the Proceedy Management.
You can now also choose to view your timeline vertically. Particular, this orientation of the timeline helps support a more user-friendly mobile version of the timeline.
As a new thing, the user can now select which emails they want to receive. It can be done from the user profile.

The user is now able to cancel or resend folder invitations.
Improved: When editing a timeline point or gallery card, the user is able to select an expanded edit mode. The expanded edit mode was created for users to better see and adjust edits more effectively.
From the PDF Editor the user can now connect a specific note annotation to a timeline point or gallery.
Improved: Added search keyboard shortcut. For windows Ctrl + K and for mac CMD + K. Ctrl + K og for mac CMD + K.
Improved: Timeline point has been updated e.g. its color indicator has become bigger.
Improved: Specifying a shared folder is shown via an icon.
Improved: We have added a link to our tutorial videos on our website. They can be accessed from the user profile in the right corner under "News".
You are now able to create timelines and galleries directly from the PDF editor, while adding annotations. It means you no longer need at least one existing timeline or gallery in order to add annotations while working with a file.
Improved: The menu in the PDF editor has been updated both with background color, but also that it no longer displays vertically but horisontal.
Improved: We have implemented a new date picker.
Improved: When you export as PDF, you are now able to get an overview of used colors and labels.
From the toolbar within every timeline, organisation and person gallery, you can now apply custom labels to your colors.
We are pleased to introduce a new type of gallery, the organisation gallery. From here the user is able to map out organisations and add necessary information. When creating an organisation, the user can also easily fill in information based on VAT number or name of the organisation.
From the PDF Editor, the user is now able to create new points or persons while working in a file. It means that the user no longer is restricted to add a reference from the file to an existing point in a timeline or a person in a gallery. This new option requires however still at least one created timeline or person gallery.

Improved: Another type of annotation, drawing, is now also possible to link to points and persons.
Improved: If the user want to hide applied colors on a timeline or person gallery, he can now. He will not remove the colors but only hide them. So e.g. for export he can now export the contents without any colors applied.
Improved: In the PDF Editor the user can now filter on whom created which annotations. It means a new option to filter on author.
Highlight annotations are now accessible from a timeline point. As a user you can add specific annotations to a point and navigate directly to the annotation in the file.
From the PDF Editor the user can now connect a specific highlight annotation to a point on the timeline of their wish.

You can now get a preview of a PDF export before exporting. This means, as a user you are now in full control of what you are exporting by adding changes to your export preferences. What you see is what you export.
If you as an existing user want to create a new organization this is now possible. It can be done from within the organization menu in the user profile.
We have added an advanced edit mode for persons galleries and timeline. If more space is needed when creating a person card or timeline point, the user is now able to expand the small edit mode to an advanced edit mode.
Improved: All applied colors now appear as actual colors in the excel export.
Improved: With an edit access, you can now access the pdf editor directly from a timeline point. It also means that you can navigate back to the timeline by using the breadcrumb.
We have added news in the timeline application. From the user profile menu, the user can now go in and read new features that have been released.
Improved: Now you can filter highlight and drawing annotations by color.
We have made the first secured OpenAPI to customers and vendors.
The user can export timelines, and persons galleries as text pdfs.
Improved: When sharing a folder you could only invite one person per invitation. We have improved this, so you may now invite and thus add multiple emails to one invitation.
Improved: We have added another annotation option to our PDF Editor. Besides applying highlight annotations to a document, the user can now also apply ink annotations in the sense of drawing on images or the document itself.
We have replaced the welcome page with a product tour feature. It is meant for onboarding of new users and walking existing users through new features. It is designed as smaller tours which the user can opt out of whenever they want.
For timelines and persons galleries, the user can now apply filters. Filters such as persons, color and date are available.
Improved: The user can now search by folder name. It means the search result will return results matching folder names as well as timelines and persons galleries.
Improved: It is now possible to filter search results from a result page.
The user can now work their files in our PDF Editor. In the editor, the user is able to apply highlight annotations. A document is also able to be edited by multiple people from their respective profiles. Here the user will be able to toggle on and off whether or not they wish to display their own applied highlight annotations or all applied annotations in the document.
The user can manage access rights, which means granting either edit access or view access. View access means that the user can only view content in the folder, but not alter or change anything.
Improved: The user can convert different formats to pdfs, including docx, jpg, xls etc. Also they are scanned for viruses in the same process.
The user can now transfer ownership of a folder to another user. All access related to that specific folder is being transferred to the new owner of the folder.
Improved: The user can now upload a large amount of files.
Proceedy Management is now available from inside the Timeline application. From here the administrator can manage other users within their own organization.
Now it is possible to log and view different types of user actions. From the timeline, the user can view a log of his own user actions. From within the Proceedy Management, the administrator can view a similar log of user actions, however for all in the organization.
A management application has been made, from where the user would be able to manage user’s roles, remove users but also invite new users into the organization.
Improved: In the persongallery the user can now add a new person card in between existing ones. They no longer need to scroll down to the bottom in order to add a new one.
Improved: When sharing a folder with another user, the user is now able to add an optional message to the recipient as part of the invitation.
Improved: The search engine has been updated, so it now is able to search on special characters in person galleries.
The user can now search in the timeline application. It’s possible to search for Files, Person Galleries, and Timelines using the search input in the top bar of the Timeline application.
Improved: From a timeline, the user is now able to view usages in the side panel for both persons and files. In other terms, the user can view where that specific person or file has been used and even navigate directly to the place where it was used.
Improved: Files have been added to the side panel. Like persons in the side panel, the user can now create a timeline point based on a specific file from the side panel.
The user can download a file.
It is also possible to export a person gallery or timeline as an image.
Improved: The user can now search for specific persons from the side panel in the timeline.
Improved: The user is also able to create a new person inside a timeline point.
Improved: The welcome page which new user’s see the first time they log into the timeline application has been updated with new images.
